Full steam ahead on this venture of mine. I have now modified the database to accept user information, descriptions, and customised link names (up to 8 characters – we’re keeping the links small, remember?), and so on.

On 1 March is the official launch of the premium site, catering to advertisers who want to use ncane.com for link tracking and other things.

This premium service will be a paid for by the advertisers who want to use it, in combination with the URL referrer technology.

    Vista aint so bad REALLY – just turn off the shiny sparkly stuff like you do in XP and it is a dream *grin* – but then again it is MS and they have made some really BRILLIANT bugger ups in the past…

    This is the last chance I'm giving them before I move to Mac with "Boot Camp(tm)" so I can run XP for VS – It's the only reason I stay on Win these days…

    How goes things with Linux btw?

  2. VMWare removes the need for dual-booting altogether. We've had this conversation. Stop wasting your time.

    My iMac runs beautifully. My SUSE 10.1 laptop runs beautifully. Get with the programme!
